Acoustic Enclosures, Melton Mowbray
NoiseAir were contacted recently by a large pet food manufacturer based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Our client was looking for an acoustic enclosure to be used as a sound control room. The enclosure was to be installed on a mezzanine platform inside of the existing factory premises. The control room was designed to reduce the noise within the factory to a comfortable level for employees and to meet the requirements of The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 (Noise at Work Regs).
The acoustic enclosure was manufactured using our proven acoustic panel system, which is made up with two layers of steel or aluminium sheets with an added composite layer, providing further mass and a high degree of noise attenuation. The control room was also designed to include air conditioning and a large acoustic window to each side.
