Noise Regulations
Noise regulations in the workplace – we were commissioned to carry out a noise risk assessment for a joinery workshop employing around 25 employees. Noise generators varied from small hand held machinery to a large spray booth using high pressure air equipment. We identified problem noise areas within the factory and issued a detailed report outlining noise levels to specific machinery and processes along with mitigation measures and recommendations to bring excessive noise levels to within the acceptable levels in order to comply to current Noise at Work Regulations.
