We were recently commissioned to carry out a Noise Risk Assessment in the workplace for a large building company based in Leicestershire. Our clients business was a building manufacturing and fabrication works. The machinery within the factory consisted of a varied array of equipment such as saw’s, drills, sanders routers, CNC machines and air tools.
The acoustic survey specifically focused on the staff currently employed within the factory premises and the likelihood of adverse impact to noise exposure, as prescribed in the Control of Noise at Work Regulations (2005). After visiting site and confirming noise levels throughout all noisy working areas and identifying noise exposure to individual employees we were able to provide our client with a full assessment in compliance with The Noise at Work Regulations. In the report, additional to all recorded noise levels and data, we included any points of concern regarding noise levels and also documented any mitigation measures and recommendations as required.
