Recent Projects – Soundproofing Enclosure to Small Compressor
Soundproofing Enclosure Bedford
Our recent client, a medical equipment supplier based in Bedford, contacted us as they needed a small acoustic enclosure (or as a client called it ‘an acoustic box’) designed and manufactured to house a small air compressor. Our client advised us of the noise generated from the compressor as being in the region of 72dB and noise attenuation was required to achieve an acceptable level.
We were able to design the compressor enclosure from photographs and a basic sketch form our client which enable us to produce a detailed project drawing for approval prior to manufacture. The project drawing covered design aspects such as internal/external dimensions and maintenance cut outs as required, crucial in maintaining an efficient service. The enclosure was then manufactured with a week of drawing approval and dispatched to our client on time and as promised.
